My name is Yufei Zhang. This project is my first try of multimedia practice. I met unexpected challenges as well as great excitement during the six-week process. This project offered me a chance to work with camera, audio recorder, video recorder and website with the help of my group member. I'm also grateful to Rastorfer and Holley, for all their time and patience to help me finish this project.
About us
My name is Panqian Yang. Our story is about two women opening their gateway to another kind of life, which they haven't imaged of. Listening to their experience opens my door to another interpretation and perpective of life. I enjoyed telling their story with various formats, including photos, audio and videos. This project taught me a sense of convergence journalism nowadays, enhancing my skills of interviewing, shooting and production.
We are journalism students from Missouri School of Journalism. This is our multimedia piece for J2150 class in 2013 summer. We tried to tell a compelling story in a visual format, letting audience read, hear and see the content.
